BRIAN BIGOS CLASS OF '97 YEAR OF INDUCTION: 2013 As an all-star for the Steinert basketball team, Bigos was responsible for leading the Spartans during a magical time. With three members of the Bigos family on the roster – Coach Roger and players Brian and Geoff – Steinert made it all the way to the state final in 1997. Brian was the Colonial Valley Conference and All-Area Player of the Year as he averaged 19.8 points per game while leading Steinert to a 25-3 campaign. He also excelled in track and field and was the Spartan of the Year for 1996-97. He captained the 1995-96 basketball team that went 18-7 as well as the 1996-97 squad that went undefeated in the CVC (a league-record 16-0) and lost to Shabazz in the state Group IV final.
