JOHN JOHNSON CLASS OF '79 YEAR OF INDUCTION: 2007 The former Mercer County Cross Country Champion earned all-county recognition in cross-country and winter and spring track, the three programs for which he also served as team captain, and still holds the school record for the mile and set various cross-country course records during his all-star schoolboy days. He helped the Spartans capture several championships, including an elusive Central Jersey Group IV title in cross-count At Glassboro, he was a national qualifier for cross-country in Division III and helped the Profs capture a national Division III championship in track.
