DAHNTAY JONES CLASS OF '98 YEAR OF INDUCTION: 2006 Jones was a three-time All-Colonial Valley Conference selection and scored a school-record 1,675 points. Dahntay was named prep high school Academic All-American, and also lettered two years in track and field. During a college career divided between Rutgers and Duke, Jones averaged double figures all four years and was the Scarlet Knights Most Valuable Player. As a senior, he led Duke to a 21-6 record and earned first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors and All-ACC Defensive Team honors. In 2003, Jones became the first Spartan to play in the NBA when he was drafted by the Boston Celtics, then traded to the Memphis Grizzlies.
