Larry was an All-State performer in football and an all-league in everything else. He served
as captain of the 1960 SHS football team and 1960-61 basketball squads and helped the baseball
team to a championship as a senior. He moved on to Trenton State College where he continued to
play football and basketball.
After college he found success on the nation’s softball diamonds. During a 25 year
softball career he earned hall-of-fame status and was named to the All-Century and All-World
team. In addition to playing for the New Jersey Statesmen, an ultra-successful professional
softball team, he also played semi-pro football with the Bristol Saints. Larry currently
umpires varsity baseball games at the high school and collegiate level.
